Description
The LMRG Rescue Pro puts thermal imaging, a laser rangefinder, a green laser marker and an LED searchlight on a single roof-mounted pan and tilt head, with daylight zoom on the top build. It runs entirely from a joystick in the cab, boots straight to a live picture, runs off the vehicle’s 12 V system and needs no keyboard, mouse or menus in the field. Crews stay in the vehicle, find the target, range it, mark it, light it and record it.

Capabilities
- Thermal imaging: 640 or 1280 sensor with a 35 or 50 mm lens. Picks out body heat in darkness and scrub.
- Daylight zoom: 4K camera with 25x optical zoom, picture-in-picture with thermal, on the 1280-50 build.
- Laser rangefinder: distance to target at the press of a button.
- Green laser marker: a visible point on the target so ground crews go straight to it.
- LED searchlight: high-output single LED in a 140 mm reflector, aimed wherever the camera looks.
- GPS in the head: positioning built into the camera head, not a puck on the dash.
- Full pan and tilt: continuous 360 degree pan, slewed from inside the cab.
- Joystick only: pan, tilt, zoom, light, laser and record from one stick.
- Record on demand: capture the feed for the debrief, the report or the brief of evidence.
- Roof to cab, one cable: power, video and control on a single connector, running off the vehicle’s 12 V system.
Where it works
- Search and rescue: sweep bushland, farmland and shoreline for a missing person’s heat signature, then light them up and guide the team in.
- Police: overwatch from the vehicle without stepping out. Track movement in the dark, range it, mark it and record it.
- Fire and rescue: see through smoke and darkness to find people, stock and hotspots, and keep eyes on crews working the edge.
- Flood and SES: find people stranded on roofs, in cars and in floodwater at night, and hold the light on them until help arrives.
Builds and colours
Four builds: 640-35 LLR, 640-50 LLR, 1280-35 LLR and 1280-50 LLR. The number is the thermal sensor and lens; LLR is LED searchlight, green laser and rangefinder. Every build is also available without the searchlight. Heads come in orange for emergency services, white for marine and Navy, and tan for the field.
